If "young divorced, there should be a number of properties available, this property has no doubts about the manner accompanied the girl or the name of her ex-husband (usually without a waiver of interest in the person of another, the property). If your stepdaughter is (or perhaps a legal matter) of these documents, the only interest in property and easily transferred to your name. If you do not need to call a lawyer to file a claim in absentia.

They should be paid already for the first time.

If not now present some form of a "quiet title" action against them in court, including publication of notices in May and the presentation of evidence in the court of the agreement and payment. You need to do a lawyer.

You must file a proceeding in absentia, claiming that the son has the property over which the court will appoint an attorney to represent their interests to leave. The appointed lawyer must know the legal steps. That's what "everyone who knows the fate of Joe Blow", advertisements in newspapers.

If it is not to find him and after a court hearing on the property is again at no cost whatsoever to you or judge of May, money in the Registry of the Court for their participation and payment.
