You have answered your question without knowing it.

HD DVD on a TV screen.

Some movies of luxury, but depends on compression technology. Caroline was not very luxurious. I suggest you try to watch a standard TV. Running a low-medium resolution analog TV and DVD cover image on an HDTV. WideScreen not want it to look good on a widescreen TV. Are DVDs that are in the best case, 480p, 720p HDTV, and the worst. You need to close these gaps or stretched images.

Suggest Blu Ray. It's really worth it if you're watching movies, and Amazon.com offered at reasonable prices.

3D with the DVD is different, is in cinemas is USEEDS. is due to the user based on 2 pictures side by side and see if the different colors on the windows, which are supposedly filtered in 3D, although not usually the case, instead of doing things "pop" on screen seems to have started the screen and everything that went wrong, but some moments in some movies in 3D are not very unfortunately most of the entire movie is in 3D, or just specific scenes, one can say what they are not wearing glasses and no other image of a different color image directly in front of the main --
